Conditioners used in showers are not designed as leave-in’s so don’t let it stay on your hair for a long period of time. It can change the texture of your hair from smooth to elastic like a rubber band which is one of the cause of tangling and frizziness.

Dry your hair gently after washing. Use a towel and gently run it to each strands of your hair until excess water drips off. If there’s no important occasion, avoid regular usage of blow dryers. Don’t force to comb your hair if it’s still wet and use a large toothed comb. Before leaving the house, apply any leave-in conditioner or mousse that has SPF to protect the hair from extreme heat and to prevent it from extreme drying which causes severe tangling. After sun exposure, wait for about 15 minutes before combing your hair. Immediate combing can lead to split ends!

Another situation of nasty hair tangles is going out of bed in the morning. To prevent this, tie your hair in a loose braid before going to sleep. So no matter what movement you make, you hair is still in place. Upon waking up, just remove the braid and you will see that your hair is easy to comb. In addition, it can reduce hair fall.
